ABOUT US: This training is being offered by the Academy for Professional Hypnosis Training and Laughing Cherub Unlimited.

CLASS LOCATION: This remarkable, life-changing class will be held at the Sedona Creative Life Center, a world-famous nonprofit center surrounded by 15 beautiful, secluded acres just a few minutes from the heart of Sedona, AZ. The center was founded to celebrate the human spirit and provide an uplifting and nourishing environment for spiritually enhancing programs and personal growth. Tuition includes all class materials.

WHO MAY ENROLL: Enrollment in this unique course is open to all hypnotists, counselors, therapists, physicians, clergy, medical or mental-health practitioners, alternative healers, massage therapists, educators and others who are experienced in working with people in a healing capacity. A telephone interview with Mary Elizabeth Raines is required before acceptance.

WHO SHOULDNOT ENROLL:Anyone who has been hospitalized for psychiatric reasons, who is seeing a psychiatrist and/or taking medication for mental health issues, or who has a history of any kind of mental or emotional breakdown. Please also see note below.

ABOUT THE CLASS: Our class size is limited so that every student may receive personal attention. We encourage each individual's sense of confidence, as well as honoring each person's special assets and gifts in this remarkable work of past-life regression therapy. WHAT YOU RECEIVE: Expert, comprehensive and highly experiential training in becoming a confident and capable past-life regression therapist. Classes are conducted with humor, lightness and love. CERTIFICATION: Upon 100% attendance and satisfactory completion of the training, participants will receive a diploma suitable for framing from the Academy for Professional Hypnosis Training stating that they are a Certified Past-life Regression Counselor. Qualified graduates will also be given a free internet listing.

SCHEDULE: As full participation is required for certification, with no exceptions, avoid scheduling early departure or late arrival. (Airport arrivals and departures should be scheduled for the day before and the day after class, as it takes two hours to get to Phoenix from Sedona.) We encourage participants to arrange for an additional day or two's stay in Sedona to explore or rest.

November 11 (Monday): 9 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

November 12-15 (Tues. thru Fri.) : 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Afternoons reserved for giving and receiving regressions in groups of two or three. (All meals on your own)

November 16 (Saturday): 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Due to distance from airport, please do not schedule return flights any earlier than 5:30 p.m.)

PERSONAL HEALING: This course is highly experiential. All students are expected to give and receive past-life sessions. This is transformative work, and is being held in a very sacred and transformational place. Our students often reap many important personal and spiritual benefits.

Please note, however, that the main focus is not personal therapy, but rather that of learning and further developing a skill that can be used in helping others. (Those looking solely for personal therapy or who are in need of deep healing should seek the attention of a professional rather than attend the course.)

FOR PEOPLE WHO ALREADY HAVE TRAINING IN GIVING PAST-LIFE REGRESSIONS: Occasionally we have a student who has already taken a class in how to conduct past-life regressions. Their teachers have included the greats in this field, like Sylvia Brown, Brian Weiss, Dick Sutphen and Henry Leo Bolduc. We have immense respect for these pioneers, and are fortunate enough to consider some of them as personal friends.

You will discover that every course is quite different. There are always new techniques to learn, and each teacher's approach is different, so you will still enjoy this class, regardless of earlier trainings. There is no competition in our classes, but simply room for expansion! (We also are happy to see our grads take courses from the above individuals, if they wish.)

NOTE FOR HYPNOTISTS: A number of hypnosis organizations, including the National Guild of Hypnotists, approve this course for credit for 40 hours of continuing hypnosis education.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Mary Elizabeth Raines, of Sedona, Arizona, is an internationally recognized past-life regression and hypnotherapy instructor, as well as an award-winning author. 

Director of Academy for Professional Hypnosis Training and founder of Laughing Cherub Unlimited, she is an adjunct faculty member and certified instructor for the National Guild of Hypnotists, and has conducted workshops and seminars for the American Board of Hypnotherapy, International Hypnosis Federation and MidAmerica Hypnosis Convention. In 2010 she was awarded the Order of the Braid in honor of a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication, and service in the field of hypnotism. According to the National Guild of Hypnotists, Raines is "recognized as one of the leading practitioners of the art and science of hypnotism."

All enrolled students receive a copy of her book, The Laughing Cherub Guide to Past-life Regression: A Handbook for Real People. She is a columnist on guided imagery for The Journal of Hypnotism, writes articles for hypnosis magazines and Kindle, and has contributed chapters to three books, including "Everyday Miracles of Hypnotherapy," "The Link," and "The Consumer's Guide to Hypnotism." She also writes plays and fiction.

In addition to teaching past-life regression, hypnosis, and guided imagery certification classes, and maintaining a private clinical practice in Sedona, Raines has taught related courses for the University of Wisconsin Continuing Education Department, has been featured in several speaker's series, and has presented past-life regression workshops and talks throughout the country, including regular workshops at the Bodhi Tree in West Hollywood, CA, and week-long past-life workshops for Friends General Conferences (Quakers) in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia, Wisconsin and Washington.
